The YG1 07593TH from Travers Tool Co is a solid carbide finishing end mill with a 1/2″ diameter, 1″ length of cut, and 4 flutes. Its 30° helix angle and Hardslick coating deliver excellent surface finish and chip evacuation in cast iron and stainless steel, combining rigidity with moderate reach for finishing passes.
This tools geometry supports smooth cutting action and dimensional accuracy. The absence of a corner radius requires careful use to prevent chipping in interrupted cuts. It is not recommended for steel (ISO P) or non-ferrous materials due to coating unsuitability that can cause premature failure.
This end mill is ideal for applications demanding fine finishing in cast iron and stainless steel, leveraging the durability and surface quality advantages of the Hardslick coating.
