Applications

The YG1 07595TE is a 5/8″ diameter, 1-1/4″ length of cut, 4-flute solid carbide finishing end mill featuring the TiAlN Extreme coating. Its stub length and moderate diameter provide excellent control and reach for finishing steel and related materials. The 30° helix angle, combined with four flutes, ensures effective chip evacuation and edge strength, enhancing performance in free-machining steel and general milling.
This tool is versatile, suitable for slotting and finishing in steel, cast iron, stainless steel, and heat-resistant superalloys. While it lacks a corner radius, requiring care to prevent chipping in interrupted cuts, it allows for sharp edge finishes.
Users should avoid applying this end mill to non-ferrous materials, as the TiAlN Extreme coating is not well suited and will degrade rapidly. It is not intended for aluminum or copper alloys, where different coatings and flute designs are preferred.
