The YG1 83598TE 3/4″ Size, 1″ Length of Cut, 3 Flute, YG TiAlN Extreme Solid Carbide Finishing End Mill delivers precise and stable machining in stub length configurations with moderate diameter. Its 50° helix angle combined with a 3-flute design and TiAlN Extreme coating ensures smooth chip evacuation and reduced friction, improving surface finish and tool longevity during finishing operations. This tool is particularly effective with Steel (ISO P), Stainless Steel (ISO M), Cast Iron (ISO K), and HRSA (ISO S) materials, leveraging the coating’s hardness and thermal resistance to reduce built-up edge and maintain sharpness in demanding alloys. The lack of a corner radius focuses the cutting action on precision contouring without concerns of chipping associated with radiused edges. Avoid using this end mill on Non-Ferrous (ISO N) materials since the TiAlN Extreme coating is not well matched and will wear rapidly. It is not recommended for roughing or interrupted cuts where a corner radius would help prevent edge chipping.
